Terms and Conditions of Booking
Bookings on the Satellite Communications Masterclasses are subject to the following terms and conditions which are expressly accepted by both parties as forming the basis of contract, and are agreed by both parties as a condition of the client making a booking and RPC Telecommunications Ltd. (RPC Telecom) accepting it.
RPC Telecom's obligation is limited to the provision of the training course and associated materials only; RPC Telecom will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure the accuracy and professional standards of all training materials presented but RPC Telecom's liability for any error or inaccuracy is proportional to the level of error or inaccuracy and is limited to the price paid for the training only.
RPC Telecom will make all reasonable endeavours to run the training courses as advertised, but in the event that it is necessary to cancel the courses for any reason whatsoever at RPC Telecom's sole discretion, RPC Telecom's liability is limited to the return of the price paid for the training only.
In the event that there are insufficient numbers booked onto a course, RPC Telecom reserves the right to cancel such a course and RPC's liability is limited to the return of the price paid for the training only.
In any event, in no circumstances shall RPC be liable in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise for loss (whether direct or indirect) of profits, business or anticipated savings or for any indirect or consequential loss whatever.
Client's right to cancel: Client may cancel no later than 45 days prior to the start of the course and will receive a 90% refund of the price paid; client may cancel no later than 15 days prior to the start of the course and will receive a 50% refund of the price paid; cancellations made later than 15 days prior to the start of the course will not be eligible for a refund; Client may send a substitute attendee at no cost by notifying RPC Telecom in writing prior to the start of the course; substitution part-way through the course is not permitted.
Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking to guarantee the place on the course (places are limited), but in any case no later than 45 days before the start of the course; for bookings made less than 45 days before the start of the course, payment must be made at the time of booking; payment shall be made in accordance with the information provided on the booking form or website; client will not be permitted to attend the course unless payment has been received prior to the start of the course, except where RPC Telecom has agreed otherwise in writing.
Disputes and complaints: Any dispute or complaint arising out of the client's attendance on the course must be notified to RPC Telecom in writing no later than 10 days after the end of the course; disputes should be settled amicably by mutual agreement between the parties; any dispute which cannot be so settled shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
